RECITE II Partners

Three of the six current RECITE II partners also participated in the PACTE II project entitled "Bells, carillons, music" :

  • the Midi-Pyrenees Region in France,
with the actual RECITE II project leader,
    IEAC (the European Bell Institute)
  • Wallonia in Belgium,
With the town of Tellin, today guarantor of the firm Clock-O-Matic,
6th principal partner of RECITE II
  • Crete in Greece,
with CEM (the European City of Music whose head is currently adviser of the Tsitsouras foundry, first foundry in Greece),
linked associate of the town of Rethymnon,
3rd principal partner of RECITE II

This first European experience with PACTE II allowed for the development of a more ambitious project centred on the economic and social dimension of SMEs. These enterprises played a part in this same bell sector and were destined – especially in the case of bell foundries – to disappear in the not too distant future for not having diversified their products and for having "barred entrance" to their prospects.

The principal RECITE II partners are :

  • Principal partner 1, project leader :
    The European Bell Institute (IEAC)
backed by the Midi-Pyrenees Region (France)
  • Principal partner 2 :
The Paccard company, a bell foundry in Sevrier
backed by the town of Sevrier
    and the department of Haute-Savoie
  • Principal partner 3 :
The town of Rethymnon in Crete
  • Principal partner 4 :
The Marinelli company, a bell foundry in Agnone (Italy)
backed by the town of Agnone and the Molise region
  • Principal partner 5 :
The Indelec company in Douai (France)
backed by the town of Douai and the
Chamber of Commerce of the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region
  • Principal partner 6:
The Clock-O-Matic company in Holsbeek (Belgium)
backed by the town of Tellin
