The Saisies site

Project for the "Chapelle des Saisies"

The Saisies pilot programme carries on
during the year 2002.

This site deals with the creation of
a modern place of worship using new materials.

This choice is meant to prove that applied techniques for the improvement of our heritage not only consist of reproducing antiquated know-how but, to the contrary,
the field of church tower engineering can be the place
for innovative research.

This pilot programe in Haute-Savoie is being supervised by the Paccard foundry. It will combine the positioning of a Paccard swinging bell, with the installation of an
Indelec lightning conductor .

 

This programme will be financed by an association created for the construction of a modern church at Saisies thanks to significant support from private patronage and subventions from the town and the department.
