The church at
Villeneuve-Tolosane

Church of Villeneuve Tolosane

This operation
was finished in December 1999.

The site of Villeneuve-Tolosane was chosen because it represents an ordinary building (neither historical nor protected) whose upkeep is really a responsibility
of the community.

The majority of communities in Europe see themselves in the same position and identify themselves in this example.

This pilot project in the Midi-Pyrenees region is supervised by the European Bell Institute, along with the Paccard   company for the bell, Indelec for lightning rods and weather vanes, Clock-O-Matic for electronic automatons. The Vincent Auriol Professional Reeducation School took charge of the restoration of the old mechanical clock.

It is interesting to note also, that the framework of this project is in the hands of a bell installation firm, the Brouillet company. It is this company, not an IDC medici partner, which will assure the setting up of this operation financed by the community of Villeneuve-Tolosane. Additional aide came from the intercommunal union and subventions offered by the Haute-Garonne departmental council and the Midi-Pyrenees regional council.
